Blue
Finally,
I thought. Blue was an Adolescent! Now he could start a family. Yay!
I imported a lovely gold-colored pixie Norn named Goldie (Betcha didn’t
see that name coming). Surely she would have beautiful Nornlings!
(I have found that breeding bright colored Norns in contrasting colors
made children in brighter shades of the darker color. Try it and see!)
Now maybe I would get some pretty electric blue Norns. I brought Blue over
to the incubator where Goldie was. She smiled at him, while Blue
(a hopeless romantic) headed for the water pump for a drink. She
walked up to him and gave him a kiss. I was surprised when he continued
to drink. Usually Norns liked a friendly female. Goldie frowned,
and then tried again. Again, Blue ignored her, not even giving her
a friendly kiss in return. Goldie persisted, kisspopping him this
time. THAT got a reaction. Blue spun around
and slapped her across the room. What the heck? I’ve seen male
Norns kisspop an unsuspecting female, who just kisses them right back.
Blue was ticked. “Pull Norn yes” I told him. He pouted. “Blue
pull Norn yes?” I tried. He looked at me, and then at Goldie.
“Pull Norn yes” he said. He went up to Goldie and asked, “Blue pull
Norn?” “Pull Norn why?” replied Goldie. I guessed she was still hurt
by his anger. “Blue pull Norn yes” He repeated. Goldie looked at
me, then at the incubator. “Pull Norn yes” she agreed. A little while
later, a lovely electric blue Norn popped out of the incubator. His
mother and father were pleased. Goldie turned to Blue and said, proudly,
“Goldie eat Norn”. I think I should probably feed Goldie more, before
she gets any bad ideas....
